Upcoming Developer Events

My father always says that we make the communities we live in. That we are responsible for making them better, and mandated to give back and help others. I am very pleased to say these values are not just mine, but instilled here at Constant Contact.

Along with incentives for employees to volunteer, nonprofit discounts, and a special program for organizations that help kids, Constant Contact is pleased to be involved in the local development community, sponsoring user groups and conferences.

Here are three upcoming events you may be interested in:

1. Lone Star PHP Conference, Dallas, TX – June 28th – 29th, 2013

We are proud to be a Platinum sponsor of the Lone Star PHP Conference. This two-day conference takes place is aimed at providing top-notch sessions for PHP developers at low, local conference prices, developers will be treated to two different tracks and 31 different sessions to choose from. Learn more about the Lone Star PHP Conference.

2. Burlington Ruby Conference, Burlington, Vermont – August 3rd – 4th, 2013

We are also proud to be sponsoring another grass-roots conference, the Burlington Ruby Conference. As soon as we heard about this conference and its mission we couldn’t help but jump on board as this year’s first “Backpacker” sponsor, and a co-sponsor of the Friday night kickoff that includes developers and business owners from around the area. Like the Lone Star PHP Conference, the Burlington Ruby Conference was launched out of a desire to help build the local community and provide top-notch speakers for the Ruby community. This two-day conference boasts 12 different sessions for its 150 attendees to attend. Learn more about the Burlington Ruby Conference.

3. Engineers4Engineers Conference, Waltham, MA – June 28th, 2103

Last, but certainly not least, Constant Contact is proud to be putting on the Engineers4Engineers Conference, a free one-day conference on June 28th held at Constant Contact headquarters. Developers will be treated to 3 different tracks full of sessions to choose from. Learn more about this invite only conference and request an invite by contacting the Boston Ruby Group, any Constant Contact team member, or tweeting @ctct_api.

As mentioned in my first post, this is all just the beginning.

Constant Contact is proud to give back not just by sponsoring conferences, but user groups as well. We’ll be putting together a user group program in the next few months, and reaching out more and more to see how we can help better the development community—the community we live and work in with you.
